If your network slows down under pressure, your security already has a problem.
Many organisations treat network performance and security as separate conversations. One sits with infrastructure. The other sits with risk, compliance, or cyber.
In reality, the two are tightly connected.
When the network struggles, everything else starts to feel it. Applications lag. Visibility becomes inconsistent. Response times slow down. Security tools that depend on reliable connectivity and clean data have less to work with.
That is where risk starts to build.
A mature technology environment focuses less on adding another tool and more on making sure the core foundation is working properly.
