Most outages aren’t caused by dramatic failures.
They’re caused by slow drift.
Firewall policies expand. Firmware ages. Configurations change incrementally. Over time, environments become harder to manage, harder to secure, and more vulnerable to disruption.
“Set and forget” works for consumer devices. It doesn’t work for enterprise infrastructure.
Strong platform management isn’t about constant upgrades. It’s about disciplined lifecycle oversight. Reviewing policies. Aligning configurations. Cleaning up what no longer serves the environment.
The difference between stable infrastructure and fragile infrastructure is rarely the brand of equipment. It’s the operational care behind it.
